North Canton Renovations

The Cornice Company has just wrapped up the speedy forty-five day project at a North Canton manufacturing warehouse. A portion of what was formerly the Hoover Company has been renovated to include office space and testing facilities for a new manufacturing company. Suarez Manufacturing Industries

The Cornice Company recently took part in renovating a portion of the former Hoover Company into a new manufacturing space. The space includes both office areas, and testing facilities for the manufacturing company. This extensive project was completed within the intense forty-five day schedule in order for production to begin on time for the Ohio based company.

Gervasi Village Construction

Gervasi Winery in Canton, Ohio has been an ongoing development since 2008. The new Village and Conference Center is the most recent addition to the Gervasi Winery. The Villas are inspired by a Tuscan Inn and act as a gathering place for locals, tourists, and business guests to host events and celebrations. The Conference Center houses multiple gathering areas as well as spaces for culinary classes and wine education. Currently the project is about fifty percent complete, with final completion scheduled for the fall of 2011. The total project budget is $5,500,000.

Columbia Groundbreaking Ceremony

On June 2nd, 2011 Columbia Local School District celebrated the groundbreaking for their exciting new construction project. The District has just begun construction on renovations to their existing Middle School and a New Elementary School addition.
On that morning the District celebrated with the students from both the Middle School and Elementary School along with the staff, parents and friends. Six students were selected to be the first to break ground and mark the beginning of an exciting time in Columbia School District’s History.
The Cornice Company has the privilege of being the Construction Administrators on this project.

Keystone Groundbreaking Ceremony

On May 14th, 2011 Keystone Local School District celebrated the groundbreaking for the construction of their new Middle School.
This new project marks the beginning of Phase II of a Three Phase series of OSFC projects. Phase I consisted of the New Keystone High School. Phase III will be a new Elementary School.

The new Middle School will house a students from grades 6-8. A K-5 facility is planned as an expansion project for the future. The 57,000 square foot facility has a project cost of $11,500,000. The Cornice Company has had the privilege of being the Construction Manager on Phase I and Phase II of these projects.

Streetsboro City Schools

On June 1st 2010 fire broke out in the Streetsboro High School gymnasium. July 1st The Cornice Company was hired as the Construction Managers for the Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration of 15,000 SF including the gymnasium, cafeteria, TV production studio, and cleaning the smoke damage throughout the entire school. This project included the extensive relocation of students to modular class rooms which was required within 60 days. Throughout the entire renovation process no education time was lost.

Together with their TV Production students Streetsboro High School put together a video documenting the tragedy and the process of rebuilding that followed. Click for Video

North Ridgeville Towne Hall

The Cornice Company provided the Construction Management for the Historical Restoration of the City of North Ridgeville Towne Hall. This project consisted of rebuilding all outer woodwork and faces, repairing the slate roof, rebuilding all the stonework on the front steps, and adding/updating the air conditioning and heating.
