Since 1990, The Cornice Company has been building its reputation on service-oriented satisfaction.In September of 1990 owner Michael DiMaio, of DiMaio and Associates Architects, Inc., founded The Cornice Company as an independently incorporated firm to provide the highest level of Construction Management services to the building owners and the clientele it serves. Throughout our 21-year history, we have maintained our offices in Fairlawn, Ohio completing diverse projects totaling hundreds of millions of dollars in construction value in both the public and private sectors.
In 2008, ownership of The Cornice Co. was transferred to David J. Leach, LEED AP who has continued with the same objectives in mind that have allowed for continued success and overwhelming customer satisfaction.
The Cornice Company is building its reputation on service-oriented practices. As Construction Managers, GMP, GC delivery, and negotiation lump sum construction we offer our clients a Team with creative ideas and technical expertise, as well as the utmost dedication. Owner and community involvement in planning and construction management further guides the process. We have developed over time a detailed understanding of the design and construction process as well, having worked closely with numerous architects.
The Cornice Co. project team can provide all construction administration, construction management, estimating, general and sub-contracting, scheduling, bidding/negotiations, project management, and other services as required for its proposed project construction. Great care is taken in the selection of team members based on particular expertise that each individual can offer any project.
